Piet Alder, the owner & founder of Taxi Gauche Records has been not only an influential figure on the music scene in Zurich over years, but a medium connecting the rock’n’roll bands overseas from the burgeoning movement in California to Switzerland. He was the first to introduce bands such as Froth or Corners to Zurich and has continued to bring countless artists to Zurich to spread their message and music to the fans of Zurich. Piet has focused his efforts with the label Taxi Gauche Records to bring attention to much-deserved Swiss bands and artists, expanding their reach across Europe and the U.S. as well as select upcoming european vinyl releases for influential underground artists from around the world.
With his sets on GDSFM he's introducing not only new music from the psych- and rock'n'roll scene but mixes them together with older bands such as Love, Rag Dolls or West Coast Pop Art Experimental Band.
